Arsenal apparently offered €15m for Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic during the January transfer window.

However, you already know that because we told you in January. Right?

The new reports seem to echo what was reported in January saying the bid was rejected (as you will have worked out by the fact that Brozovic is not an Arsenal player).

Groundbreaking stuff.

Some websites in Italy are claiming that the Italian giants want something closer to €25m for the midfielder and that would tally with what has been the story for the past two months.

At the start of January, it was claimed that Arsenal were prepared to bid €25m for him, and that price has remained pretty consistent ever since.

As mentioned, we reported in mid-January about the rumoured Arsenal bid that is now being reported as rejected.

At that time, it was claimed, once again, that Inter wanted €25m but Arsenal had put ‘only’ €15m on the table for the player who is not out of contract until 2019.

The Italian sites now seem to think that the player will renew with Inter before moving on in the summer when Arsenal are expected to try again to bring him to north London.
