Arsenal have confirmed the date for their fourth round League Cup clash against Norwich City.

The Gunners will host Norwich on Tuesday 24 October in a 7:45pm kick-off.

Last Wednesday, Arsenal faced Doncaster Rovers at the Emirates and narrowly scraped through 1-0.

While Arsene Wenger’s rotated side looked strong in the first half, in the second, Darren Ferguson’s League One side were decent and probably should have brought the score level.

Norwich meanwhile beat Brentford 3-1 after previously winning against Swindon (3-2) and Charlton (4-1) during their previous rounds in August.

Arsenal should be feeling reasonably confident heading into the match since they’ve won 27 matches, lost 11 and drawn 19 since they first faced the Canaries in January 1952.

However, after the Gunners’ disappointing performance against Donny, you’d be forgiven for not being entirely convinced of progressing to the fifth round.

Norwich are currently 12th in the Championship after earning 12 points in nine matches but they’ve only lost one of their last five.

Considering how the Gunners have played this season, I reckon the League Cup clash could be quite close.

The other Carabao Cup fourth-round fixtures are as follow:

  • Bournemouth v Middlesbrough
  • Bristol City v Crystal Palace
  • Leicester City v Leeds United
  • Manchester City v Wolves
  • Swansea United v Manchester United
  • Chelsea v Everton
  • Spurs v West Ham
