A series of games without a win was brought to an end by Arsenal on Tuesday night.

The Gunners put four past Hull without reply in the FA Cup replay, and it is fair to say that all eyes were on that game throughout the day.

The win, of course, came at a cost. This is Arsenal, after all. They scored four and lost three players. However, thankfully, only Aaron Ramsey seems to carrying an injury that we should be concerned with.

Arsenal will now play Watford on Sunday at 1.30pm with Arsene Wenger admitting after the match that he’d have loved to have the game on Saturday. What’s the small matter of Barcelona to the people who schedule these things?

Why give Arsenal a hand? In fact, why give any English side a hand like they do in the other leagues? Let’s wait until we lose one of our places and then examine what can be done to help sides in Europe.

After the game, Arsenal’s goalscorers, Walcott, and Giroud told BTSport ‘We want to make history‘ by winning a third FA Cup in a row. If these two return to form permanently, we’ve as much chance as anyone.
